MICHAEL KELLY, CPA
Mike is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College, where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting. He began his public accounting career in 2005 and has worked for two local public accounting firms prior to founding KDS.
Mike is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Maine Society of CPAs, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike specializes in corporate and individual tax compliance for clients of all shapes and sizes. He has a background in attestation services, including audits, reviews and compilations for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Mike is passionate about working with local small business owners to help grow their business and minimize their tax liability to the fullest extent.
Mike lives in Falmouth with his wife Heather, and three young children, Bryson, Lyla, and Nolan. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and is an avid New England sports fan.

RYAN DAWSON, CPA
Ryan is a graduate of the University of Maine, summa cum laude, where he majored in accounting and finance. He began his public accounting career in 2011 with Dawson, Smith, Purvis and Bassett, P.A., located in Portland, Maine, which later merged with a national firm.

Specializing in tax compliance and strategic planning, Ryan provides comprehensive services to individuals, small businesses, trusts, estates, and private foundations. He works closely with his clients to navigate complex tax laws and develop tailored strategies for minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing financial efficiency.

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of CPAs. His involvement in these groups reflects his commitment to staying current on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that his clients receive the most up-to-date and effective guidance.

Ryan lives in Freeport with his wife, Kelsey, son, Parker, and twin daughters, Morgan and Sophie. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and hiking, as well as many other outdoor activities.

WILLIAM SOUTER, CPA
Bill is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where he majored in accounting, and a graduate of Thomas College, where he received a Master’s Degree in Taxation. He began his public accounting career in 1996 with Dawson, Smith, Purvis and Bassett, P.A., located in Portland, Maine, which later merged with a national firm.

Bill’s area of concentration is tax compliance and planning for individuals, privately-owned businesses, trusts, estates and nonprofit organizations.
​
He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maine Society of CPAs. He is the current Treasurer and Board Member of the Saco Bay Rotary Club.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing and bowling, and is an avid New England sports fan.

Bill lives in Old Orchard Beach with his wife, Jessie and son, Ethan. He also has two older sons, Tyler and Tanner.
SENIOR MANAGER
ANDREW SLATTERY, CPA
Andrew graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2016 with a degree in accounting and has obtained his CPA license. He focuses on tax compliance and planning for individuals and closely-held businesses.

Andrew is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maine Society of CPAs, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and ongoing development.
​
Outside of his professional work, Andrew volunteers his time serving on the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee for the Maine State Golf Association, contributing his expertise to support the organization and its mission.

When he’s not in the office, Andrew enjoys playing golf and going on adventures with his wife, Sara and their dog, Gunner.
SENIOR MANAGER
CHRISTINE MOULTON, CPA
Christine is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Management. In 2017 she earned her Masters in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
In 2019 Christine obtained her Certified Public Accountant designation and is a member of the Maine Society of CPAs.
Christine began her career in public accounting in 2016 with a local public accounting firm that later merged with a nationally recognized firm. There she developed her expertise in accounting and tax compliance as well as planning strategies for individuals, corporations, and trusts and estates. She enjoys helping clients in various types of industries with their accounting needs and their federal and state tax obligations.
Christine lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband, Dylan, and dog Hazel. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outside running, hiking, biking and the occasional round of golf.

TINA GOAN
Tina joined the KDS team in 2024 as a Staff Accountant, bringing with her an impressive 28 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Her background in mortgage underwriting provides essential skills that transition to her role in public accounting, making her an undeniable asset to the firm.
Tina resides in coastal southern Maine with her dog, Leo. In her free time, she loves embarking on road trips, attending live music events, and exploring the local foodie scene with her family and friends.

ZACH STRZEGOWSKI
Zach graduated from the University of Tampa in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. After returning to Maine, he began his accounting career at a small firm in Bath, where he quickly immersed himself in the world of tax.
Zach focuses on individual, corporate, and nonprofit taxation. His growing expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to client service make him a valuable asset to the firm and its clients.
A Scarborough native, Zach now resides in Portland. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, spending time with friends and family, attending live music events, cooking, and traveling.

DENISE ORR
Denise has worked as an administrative assistant for over 30 years and started in a public accounting office in a local small firm in 1999.
Denise lives in Saco with her husband Tom and has two grown children, a grandson, and a granddaughter. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

JESSIE SOUTER
Jessie was born and raised in Springfield, MA. She graduated from Springfield College with an associate’s degree in legal office administration and, after moving to Maine in 2001, she continued her education at York County Community College, earning a certification in Human Resources. Jessie worked in the banking industry for many years before spending ten years in the social services field.

Jessie lives in Old Orchard Beach with her husband, Bill and son, Ethan. She also has two older sons, as well as two grandchildren. She is a member of the Saco Bay Rotary Club and a volunteer for Hospice of Southern Maine. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling, yoga, music, theater, cooking and participating in outdoor activities in the warmer months.
